As her President’s project, Louisa Boone of Soroptimist International of South Lake Tahoe selected the annual Live Violence Free “Gift-A-Christmas” program. She explained that usually all gifts distributed are for the children and thought it would be special to provide a gift for their single parents and the club agreed. SISLT donated sixty Christmas stockings for male and female adults stuffed with beauty products, gift cards, tea, socks, beanies and jewelry which will be delivered December 14-18. In total, there will be one hundred forty eight recipients this year, mostly children.
