The holidays are fast approaching and we are looking for energetic, friendly volunteers for this year’s 11th Annual Festival of Trees & Lights. This three-day festival has become a community staple and is the perfect way to start spreading holiday cheer. I was wondering if you would and members of the Soroptimist Organization may be interested in helping us with this years event. I would love to schedule a time to come in to discuss the event and job details at a meeting or gathering of interested parties. Please let me know if this is something we can set up for mid November.
The Festival of Trees & Lights is not only a fun, family-friendly weekend, it is also a fundraising event for us here at The Barton Foundation. This year all proceeds raised during the Gala will benefit our Family Birthing Center by funding equipment, training, and development so that we can continue to provide exceptional care close to home for our mothers and babies. Funds raised at the festival will support Barton’s Community Health Endowment.
Attached you will find descriptions of the different volunteer roles we are looking to fill. Click here to sign up for specific roles and shifts. I would be happy to come in and explain/discuss the event with members just let me know when!
