SISLT’s Women Status Committee is hosting a panel discussion on Wage Discrepancy.
Did you know…
In 2022, American women typically earned 82 cents for every dollar earned by men. Black women earned
70% as much as White men and Hispanic women earned only 65% as much.
The panel will discuss:
- Laws that promote pay equality and why there is still a gap.
- What private & public entities are doing to promote transparency
- Tips on how to approach a conversation on wage discrepancy with your employer
