Please join us for a wonderful presentation from Michelle Ficara (daughter of member Peggy Blowney) on March 13th at the STAR building. Lunch will be provided by Ale Works.

Please register your attendance by Monday at noon in order to get an accurate count for meals.

Flatstick Pub Funday Sunday Fundraiser:

Hi everyone, we will be partnering with the Flatstick Pub during the month of April and we need volunteers from our club to be there between 3-6pm on April 7, 14, 21 and 28. Please sign up for a shift using the following link. We are also seeking items to give away as prizes for a spin the wheel game. This is completely voluntary and not required. 40 Under 40 Highlight: Michelle Aguilar-Ficara
Michelle Aguilar-Ficara is an award winning documentary filmmaker committed to social equality and fair representation of marginalized populations. (

She has made social issue documentaries in countries all over the world that have screened at various film festivals, conferences and universities. Her work has screened at the Margaret Mead Film Festival, Banff Mountain Film Festival, The WIld & Sencic Film Festival, The Napa Valley Film Festival and many more.

She is a Tahoe native that returned home after going to college, volunteering in the Peace Corps, attending grad school, traveling the world and working for a production company in Washington DC.

Her most recent documentary film is called MOMENTUM and it is a local story about Chris Cocores and Ryan Wallace. Momentum has been to film festivals and communities all over the world and will have a national TV broadcast, showcasing the beauty of Tahoe and the incredible people that live here.

Michelle volunteers her time and expertise for Tahoe Arts Project and is very involved with the Mountain Bike Association as well. She has a real love for the Tahoe community.
