Every community has women whose quiet dedication and determined leadership create lasting change. The Soroptimist Ruby Award: For Women Helping Women was established to recognize exactly these individuals—women whose personal or professional efforts are improving the lives of other women and girls in meaningful, measurable ways.
Honoring Impact and Inspiration
The Ruby Award shines a light on women who lead with compassion, service, and purpose. Honorees are those whose work not only supports women and youth but also inspires others to step forward and do the same. Whether through career, volunteerism, advocacy, or community leadership, these women embody Soroptimist’s mission of investing in women and girls.

The Ruby Award is more than recognition—it is a celebration of women supporting women and the ripple effect that occurs when one person chooses to lift others. If you know a woman whose work is changing lives, consider sharing her story through a nomination.
