Voted Best Charity Fundraiser of 2016, The Soroptimist International of South Lake Tahoe’s Annual “An Evening of Food and Wine Tasting” Event is the go-to event in South Lake Tahoe.

Attendees will sip on incredible wine from approximately 25 of Northern California’s top wineries and sample a wide variety of delicious appetizers, entrees and desserts from approximately 25 of the South Shore’s finest restaurants. We always have a great winery lineup with wineries from all over the west coast, and amazing local food for guest to enjoy. 

 “An Evening of Food and Wine Tasting” raises money to fund the many projects and programs sponsored by Soroptimist International of South Lake Tahoe. All proceeds are directed back into our community through educational scholarships, youth activity sponsorships and grants to organizations such as the Live Violence Free Center, Tahoe Youth and Family, the Drug Store Project, Christmas Cheer, Girls on the Run, Tahoe Arts Project and numerous projects that enhance services and quality of life in our community.

Tickets for each year’s “An Evening of Food and Wine Tasting” event can be purchased from your favorite SISLT member or at www.sislt.org. Tickets are released about two months before the event each year. Please remember that all participants must be at least 21 to attend.

Event attendees have the opportunity to win a large selection of fabulous raffle prize packages valued between $1000 and $2500.

Enjoy the return of our old fashioned silent auction with no online bidding with fine wines, jewelry, gift certificates and art. We will also have a several large items to raffle off including trips, sport items and large baskets with certificates and more. Also back by popular demand will be the cork raffle with guaranteed wins of items that are equal or greater value than the cork purchased.
