Attendees will sip on incredible wine from approximately 20 of Northern California’s top wineries, local breweries and sample a wide variety of delicious appetizers, entrees and desserts from approximately 30 of the South Shore’s finest restaurants. We always have a great winery lineup with wineries from all over the west coast, and amazing local food for guests to enjoy. The addition of local breweries rounds out the tasting for our event this year.

Our theme for this year is “A Black and White Affair.” We encourage you to wear your best duds that are Black and White.

“An Evening of Food, Wine & Beer Tasting” raises money to fund the many projects and programs sponsored by Soroptimist International of South Lake Tahoe. All proceeds are directed back into our community through educational scholarships, youth activity sponsorships and grants to organizations such as the Live Violence Free Center, Tahoe Youth and Family, the Drug Store Project, Christmas Cheer, Girls on the Run, Tahoe Arts Project and numerous projects that enhance services and quality of life in our community.

Tickets for each year’s “An Evening of Food, Beer and Wine Tasting” event can be purchased from your favorite SISLT member or at www.sislt.org.  Please remember that all participants must be at least 21 to attend and have their ID with them at the event.

Event attendees have the opportunity to win a large selection of fabulous Raffle packages valued between $700 and $2499.  Prizes include fine wine, jewelry and art as well as gift certificates for local restaurants, stores, hotels and professional services. We welcome the return of the silent auction to our event. We will have old fashioned bid sheets for you to keep an eye on throughout your evening with plenty of fabulous items to bid on. We will also have a Wine Cork raffle this year.  You can purchase a wine cork for $40 which you will draw out of the raffle cage.  Best part is, is everyone is a winner of a fabulous prize.  The prize you win corresponds with the number on the cork you draw.  There will be many fabulous prizes valued from $40 to $499.99!
