Soroptimist International of South Lake Tahoe Awards $25,003 to local programs benefitting our youth
On March 14, 2018 at Harrah’s Convention Center, Soroptimist International of South Lake Tahoe awarded $25,000 towards programs in our community that benefit local youth. The following presenters gave a brief description of the program on how the funds that were awarded would be used. It was a heartwarming program and all attendees learned from the presenters about the various programs that are helping youth in our community.

47th Annual An Evening of Food, Wine, & Beer Tasting

You are invited to join the ladies of Soroptimist International of South Lake Tahoe at our 47th Annual Fundraiser, An Evening of Wine, Food, & Beer Tasting and Competition. This year we are excited to introduce several of our local breweries to the event. The wineries, breweries, and restaurants will be competing for “Best of Tahoe” in each category. Our theme for this year is “Hats Off to You!” We encourage you to wear or even design a fancy hat to wear to the event. Whether it is a fancy fascinator or a glamorous Kentucky Derby style hat, we encourage you to be fancy and creative! There will be a prize for Best Hat.
Silent Auction Information: This year we are bringing back our silent auction, which will have approximately 15-20 items/packages valued between $500 and $2500!!!! We are also bringing back our $20 mystery wine bags and are introducing a Wine Cork raffle this year. You can purchase a wine cork for $40 which you will draw out of the raffle cage. Best part is, is everyone is a winner of a fabulous prize. The prize you win corresponds with the number on the cork you draw. There will be several fabulous prizes valued from $40 to $499.99!
