I pledge allegiance to

Soroptimism and to the ideals for which it stands:

Date	Program	Description
February 3^rd	"Business Meeting" – Harrah’s	Soroptimist club business is important – take an interest & vote!
February 10^th	"Allocations Presentation" – Harrah’s	This is THE event where we donate $40,000, including scholarships, back into our community of Lake Tahoe.
February 17^th	“PEMA Project” – Harrah’s	This project started in 2003 with an idea, no money & a need to help women widowed by AIDs and their children living with no future hope.
February 24^th	“Women in Leadership” – Harrah’s	Teri Marceron, Supervisor of the Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit, will discuss the obstacles & opportunities for women in government positions.
