Here’s to a great 2016-2017 year as SISLT President!
Living in Lake Tahoe for the past 35 years, Pam served as the Assistant to the President of Lake Tahoe Community College for 29 years, retiring six years ago. She joined Soroptimist in 2001 and has enjoyed both the service and social aspects of the club. After raising her two children in South Lake Tahoe, she is pleased to give back to the community by volunteering in Soroptimist, Habitat for Humanity and CASA.

She enjoys the Tahoe outdoor life by hiking, backpacking, kayaking, downhill and cross country skiing and snowshoeing. She loves to share her knowledge of the backcountry with her friends, family and newcomers that make their way to Tahoe . Her newest and latest love is her one year old grandson. Colleen has a son who lives in Arcata, CA that she loves to go visit and has lived with her significant other, Dennis Morgan, since 2010. Colleen has served on the board of directors for Soroptimist in past years, has chaired Recruitment and Retention committee and also has chaired the Wine Committee.
Originally a southern CA kind of girl I moved to Tahoe in 1974. Now retired from UPS where I drove a package car for 23 years. Now I’m enjoying the life I love… Being a seamstress, finding adventures with my friends, visiting out of town family and friends, having out of town family & friends visit me, spending time in Hawaii and sometimes finding time to relax. Being a South Lake Tahoe resident for 42 years I have seen a lot of changes in our little town. I am very proud to be a part of our Soroptimist club and all we do to better our community.
I have lived in Lake Tahoe for 40 years. I graduated from So Tahoe High School in 1978. I am employed at Barton Health and have been a loyal employee for 34 years in the Revenue Cycle Department. I have a wonderful Husband, Kevin Kinney, that I met here in Lake Tahoe 16 years ago on a blind date. We own a Carpet Cleaning Business, Kinney’s Carpet Care. We have no children but we have a dog name Sable who brings us so much joy. We love living in the mountains, breathing the clean air and surrounding ourselves with friends and family. I have been a member of Soroptimist since 2006. I was introduced to this club by my Sponsor Wendy Shehadi. My life has been blessed ever since because of the many women I have been introduced to. Thank You Soroptimist of South Lake Tahoe.

Hanna enjoys all that Lake Tahoe has to offer, especially what can be enjoyed while on the back of her horse or in the winter, on her snowmobile. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends and loves the opportunity the Soroptimists are giving her to make a difference in the Lake Tahoe community.

My name is Victoria Raucci Gonzales, but my casual name is Vicki. I am 2nd/3rd generation American of Italian descent. I was born October 11, 1958 in Pittsburg California, and in the year of this’s writing I will be 58 years old. Looking forward to a very special year!
I am a Thirty-year member of SISLT and I have served on several committees and have chaired many over the years. Currently, a member of the Board as Club delegate to Sierra Nevada Region and have been for seven years. This year I am taking on the Women’s Health Committee to advocate for women’s equality, rights and freedoms.
Married to Rudy Gonzales for almost twenty-nine years, we have two sons Bobby, 21, and Joe, 19, both are currently attending LTCC. We own and operate Marine Performance at 1630 Shop Street. I am the CFO and I developed our current location from the ground up…I was my own consultant for the project and I got it done. No small feat, especially in the Lake Tahoe Basin.
I graduated from Sonoma State University in 1981 from the School of Environmental Studies and Planning in Resource Management and Interpretation. Long list of professional experience includes the City of Pittsburg Leisure Services, California Dept. of Parks and Recreation, TRPA, Tahoe Rim Trail Fund Executive Director, and an independent contractor for assorted projects including the Tahoe Transportation District, Clean Tahoe Program and Campfire Girls to name a few.
I cook for Bread and Broth and have been for over 25 years. My motto is “If I feed one hungry person who would not have eaten otherwise, it’s worth the effort to feed everyone who walks through the doors.”
Writing is my passion. I have been working on a manuscript for 25 years and am fairly close to self publishing my first book in the Beyond New Boundaries series. More to come about that as it develops.
I live with all males in my household and I work with an all male team at our boat shop. I really appreciate that Soroptimist provides me the opportunities to connect with female energy.
Loving Lake Tahoe since childhood, Brenda Knox became a full-time resident after selling her Bay Area business in 2010. Brenda holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix. She is active in the community and currently serving on the LTCC Foundation board. Serving as a Soroptimist is a rewarding and challenging experience. Giving back to the local community is a priority and Brenda is happy to be part of an organization that consistently gives back.
