Rewards for Excellence Scholarship Application - College or Trade School
The purpose of the Soroptimist organization is service, principally to its community, but also to society in general. Soroptimist International of South Lake Tahoe is especially dedicated to the advancement and enhancement of women and to the study of issues and concerns affecting women’s lives and how they function in our society. Along with this goal, the club has a long-standing commitment to the youth of our community to provide incentives and rewards for excellence. The application packet is due to the LTCC Financial Aid office or SISLT by 3:00 PM on Friday, March 16, 2007
The Rewards for Excellence Scholarships enable our club to effectively recognize the students of our community who will be pursuing further education or training. Selection is based on academics, special talents, leadership, obstacles overcome, communication skills, unique endeavors and community service. In addition to a completed application, students must submit an essay describing their skills, talents, and accomplishments.
